Why a Sweet Life

Wow!  I’m taking a leap and starting a blog!  Excited and nervous at the the same time.  Hope I can bring you some inspiration, wisdom and insight from my sweet life!

I thought I would start with why my life is sweet.  I could go on and on, but don’t worry, I thought I would narrow it down to my top 3.

First: My Boys

I have two wonderful boys.  My oldest son is 3.  He enjoys trains, trucks and loves helping his Daddy.  He takes everything in and asks many questions about the world around him.

My youngest son is almost 1 1/2.  He is currently trying to decide if he really wants to walk or not.  He LOVES food and lets you know when he thinks he should have more.

Both boys are very active and keep me on my toes.  Some days they really tire me out and give me gray hair.  But then there are times, they give me that smile, hug or kiss and they melt my heart and I’m reminded how blessed I am to have them in my life.

Second: My Husband.

I could say so much about him, but I will keep it simple.

At our wedding, we had a song sung with the title “When God Made You“.  Some of the lyrics are “When God made you, He must have been thinking about me”.  Oh how true this is to me.  There are so many character qualities my husband has that I never ever thought I needed or wanted.  He shows me in so many ways how much he loves me and our boys.  He not only provides for us and allows me to stay at home and take care of our boys, but he also is the spiritual leader in our home.  I am so blessed to be married to a man that desires to be a man of God and keep HIM first in his life, our marriage and our family.

Last and Greatest Sweet thing in my Life: My personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

I wouldn’t be who I am today without Christ in my Life.  He has walked beside me when I thought I might not be able to walk anymore. He has given me so many things to be thankful for, a wonderful family that loves me, a nice home, good fiends, and so much more.

My life isn’t perfect and I am very very far from perfect. But God still loves with a love that is hard to fully imagine. He sent his one and only son to earth, to die on a cross for me.  He LOVES ME THAT MUCH!!  John 3:16-17  He suffered and died, so that if I would believe in HIM, I would be able to spend eternity with HIM in heaven.

So this is top reason that I know my life is sweet.  I have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.  If you don’t, and maybe want to know more about HIM, please feel free to contact me and I would love to share with you more about the amazing life God has to offer you.

Well, first blog written, posted and hopefully read!  Check that one of my to do list.
